Q: How does swapping work?
A: – Upload items to your wardrobe.
– Browse The Closet and filter by type, size, distance, and more.
– When you spot something you love, tap the Request Swap.
– That opens a direct message with the item’s owner.
– If they like something from your wardrobe too, you agree to swap directly.
– You both arrange the handoff yourself.

Q: What happens after we swap?
A: Head to My Wardrobe, mark your item as Swapped, and you’ll earn points, badges, and contribute to the community CO₂ tally.

2. Items & Listings

Q: Why can’t I upload more than 6 items?
A: On our free ReWearth plan, we limit each user to 15 listings to keep the platform manageable and ensure quality over quantity. If you’d like to list more items and have a longer expiry, we recommend taking a look at our ReWearth subscription plans.

Q: How long do my listings stay active?
A: Depending on your ReWearth plan, your listings are either valid for 30 days or more. You’ll get a reminder before they expire. You can easily renew or update them.

Q: Can I delete or update my item after uploading it?
A: Yes! Go to your dashboard > My Items > Edit or Remove.

Q: Why can’t I star or favorite items right now?
A: You can! Visit our ReWearth shop if you’d like to feature an item!

3. Users & Matching

Q: How do I respond to swap requests?
A: You’ll get a notification and message in your inbox. You can view the user’s wardrobe, chat, and suggest a swap in return.

Q: Is messaging required to swap?
A: Yes, it’s how you discuss and agree on your exchange. We don’t auto-match or facilitate swaps for you.

Q: Can I message someone without requesting a swap?
A: If they haven’t set their account to private, you can reach out directly. Please keep chats purposeful and respectful.

3. Rewards & Impact

Q: What do I get for swapping?
A: When you mark an item as swapped, you earn swap points, unlock badges, and grow your personal CO₂ savings.

Q: What is the community CO₂ tally?
A: It tracks how much CO₂ we’ve saved together by swapping instead of buying new. Every swap helps.

Q: Will I get a badge for every swap?
A: Badges unlock as you reach milestones – first swap, 5 swaps, 10 swaps, etc.

3. Rewards & Impact

Q: I run a secondhand store. Can I use this?
A: Not yet! ReWearth is a NO-MONEY exchange swapping community. But we’re working on a feature for verified shops to list stock in a way that fits our swap-first model.

Q: Can I sell my items instead of swapping?
A: This is a swap-only platform for now, but resale options may arrive later.

3. Your Account & Listings

Q: How do I update my profile or item details?
A: Go to My Profile to update your name, bio, preferred swaps, location, etc. Tap any item to edit or delete it.

Q: Can I block someone or report a user?
A: Yes. Tap the user’s profile or message and choose “Report”. Our team takes moderation seriously.

Q: What if I forget to mark an item as swapped?
A: Just head to your wardrobe and tap “Mark as Swapped” to retroactively log the exchange and earn your rewards.
